Almost all employers are covered by the federal labor law governing minimum wages and overtime pay for employees  The law is called the Fair Labor Standards Act (or the FLSA).  Lawyers who deal with minimum wage and overtime pay issues refer to this area of law as “wage and hour” law. 

This free Employee Resource Center is designed to provide employees with valuable information about the FLSA and wage and hour law.  Our goal is to help workers learn their rights.
